I hope nobody thought I’d leave you without a cat picture or two today, just because I posted the Rufus picture on Wednesday.
Oh, no, I wouldn’t do that. Special means exactly that.
So, without further ado, Rhubarb and Yuki, doing what they do best.
Even when the politics get furrier than usual–and they have been, what with Rufus’ integration, ‘Nuki’s determination to be boss, Sachiko’s on-again-off-again feud with Kokoro, and too many more continuing dramas for me to conveniently count–they still find time to snuggle up and snooze.
Is there anything lovelier than a pair of intertwined tails?
Sometimes with your tribe ‘o’ fur, I feel like I’ve come in in the middle of a season of Game of Thrones (without the Red Wedding, of course). (I have no idea what that meant. I’ve never seen Game of Thrones. I just wanted to sound relevant.) What I meant was … I’m not sure who’s who and I give Rhubarb and the others short shrift, because I don’t know their back stories. I think we need Tribe 101 from you … so we can meet the entire Cats, I mean, Cast ‘o’ Cats.

‘Sokay, I’ve never watched it either. I started on the books, but called a halt when I realized that no matter how many major characters were killed off, the cast wasn’t getting any smaller.
And, speaking of casts…
Yeah, I know we’ve got a “can’t tell the players without a scorecard” situation here. I’ve actually been trying to come up with one, but it’s a tough problem. There’s no good way to track the various alliances and states of war (hot and cold) that wouldn’t be a full-time job. On the other extreme, a head shot, name, and link to origin story seems a bit sparse.
It’ll happen eventually.

I think we’ll have to agree to disagree there. I’d accept intertwined forepaws as being as lovely as intertwined tails. But not lovelier.
