Last month I said Rhubarb and Yuki aren’t great friends and Rhubarb generally stays at a distance from the Floofmeister.

Feline politics being the ever-changing thing that it is, that statement appears to be untrue now. The boys aren’t routinely cuddling, but for the past week or so they’ve been seen keeping company.

I keep finding them on adjoining stairs, as in this shot, or side-by-side on the bed, not quite touching.

Sachiko has been trying to assert her dominance lately. I suspect the two behavioral changes are connected.

It’s nice to see Rhubarb spending time with other cats. Hopefully this is a trend that will continue, rather than reverting to the status quo ante.
